  • Eat more Tomatoes, these contain Lycopene an antioxidant similar to beta carotene, this can help to reduce the risk of prostate cancer.
  • Eat more Vegetables, again this helps to reduce the risk of prostate cancer.
  • Eat more Salmon or other fish high in Omega-3 Fish Oil.
  • Eat more Olive Oil and less vegetable oil, linoleic acid found in vegetable oils can increase the risk of cancer by 3 or 4 times. Olive oil is the safer option.
  • Eat less red meat, saturated animal fat can increase the risk of prostate cancer, other foods that may increase the risk are dairy fat and eggs.
  • If you smoke, stop. Avoid tobacco smoke to reduce your risk of lung cancer, whether active or passive.
  • Reduce your alcohol intake particularly in the form of beer, alcohol has been linked to rectal and colon cancer.

Some of the Key vitamins and minerals associated with cancer prevention are Selenium, Vitamin E, Mixed natural Carotenoids, Calcium, Folic acid, and Vitamin C. Eating a good wholesome and healthy diet will help to reduce the need for vitamin supplements.
