Porsche GT3
There is a new Porsche GT3 due in the UK this Summer. With a 3.6 litre,
381bhp engine the new car will sprint to 100 mph from standstill in 9.4
seconds and on to a top speed of 191mph. A revised rear wing and front
apron will help the handling. Estimated cost will be around £74,000.
Subaru Impreza
A revised Subaru Impreza has been announced. Quicker and more fuel efficient,
with new wings, bumpers and headlights. The STi version is £24,995
and the WRX £19,995.
Alfa Romeo
A high performance version of the Alfa Romeo 147 goes on sale in March
2003. With a six-speed gearbox, the 3.2 litre V6 engine produces 250bhp.
Honda - Japanese car giant announces new
Accord Tourer to replace Aerodeck
The Japanese car giant Honda has launched the Aerodeck replacement, the
new Accord Tourer. Available with 153bhp 2.0 litre and 187bhp 2.4 litre
four cylinder petrol engines, with a diesel 2.2 litre due next year. Prices
expected to start at £17,500 when it goes on sale in May.
Audi - New A3 announced including "Hot
Hatch"
New A3 due August 2003 with 2.0 and 3.2 litre petrol engines or 2.0 litre
turbodiesel . 1.6 and hot hatch version due next year.
Saab - New convertible due
New drophead due September 2003. 150bhp, 175bhp 2.0 litre turbo or 210bhp
engines available. Hood can be fully activated in only 20 seconds.
Mercedes - New convertible CLK and CL65 AMG
New drophead CLK due June 2003
New full size coupe CL65 AMG due by end of this year - price around £120,000!!!
Mini - New BMW Mini Diesel
New MINI One diesel due June 2003. Same engine as the Toyota Yaris. Likely
cost £11,500.
